Gattopardo Tablecloth

Reminiscent of the 19th century ball gowns seen swirling through Visconti's interpretation of "The Leopard", this tablecloth worked in blue and white cotton thread is a symphony of different stitches.

Unsung artists for hundreds of years, women have created needlework that is now ruined or lost. To find a piece like this, in perfect condition, is very difficult, to say the least.
